It is early morning in Paris. She opens her bathroom window and climbs on the roof of her apartment. A deep breath, a quick look over the neighbourhood of Montparnasse. She stretches, moves her head in a wide circle and starts exercising in the fresh air. After half an hour, she returns to her one-bedroom flat under the roof. The tiny apartment is quirky.

I really don’t know any more how it happened. We were sitting in the car and suddenly there was this bright light and some unbearable noise.
I had rubbed some dirt off a chopped tomato tin from our grocery shopping at Aldi and all of a sudden this impeccably dressed guy in a 1930s cocktail tuxedo outfit was sitting next to me in the car.

Ollie didn’t have any of it. Little Ollie paused, had a long sniff at presumably another dog’s pee, meandered coolly around the sidewalk, looked after other dogs passing by and didn’t give a toss about what Ollie’s accompanying lady shouted at him. “Ollie, come here. Ollieee, over here. Ooolliiee, move. Ooooolllliieeee, no, don’t!”
